Dashboard is an information viewer that can be used in several ways. It can be used as a full screen display of information running on a dedicated computer or on an additional display connected to the main computer. It may also be used as a screensaver when the computer is inactive or to drive LCD or VFD displays.

There are three main components: InfoShow, Kickstart and Wizard. Dashboard InfoShow is the main display and driver program. Dashboard Kickstart is a screen saver that may be used to trigger InfoShow in full screen mode. Dashboard Wizard is a tool to assist in configuring InfoShow.

An example of using Dashboard would be in conjunction with Windows XP Media Center Edition, possibly with an additional screen. InfoShow would drive any LCD module and display information about the current media on the LCD and the additional screen.
